Thunderbirds Airshow (last show was twenty years ago) at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi,Mississippi.While the Thunderbirds were coming into Keesler Air Force Base they encountered some inclimate weather which damaged five of the six nose cones(Radomes) on the aircraft,which is why Thunderbirds 5 and 6 have Grey Radomes.Upon hearing the news Hill Air Force Base in Utah crated and prepared for shipment 5 new Radomes.They were shipped by Altus Air Force Base in Oklahoma in a C-17 Globemaster III.To see the full story go to http://www.f-16.net.news_article3356

Major Tyrone Dyon Douglas, Lead Solo, in Thunderbird Five departing in his General Dynamics F-16C Fighting Falcon at Thunder on the Bay Airshow at Keesler Air Force Base. Biloxi,Mississippi 04 April 2009. The Thunderbirds came into Keesler Air Force Base in severe inclimate weather damaging 5 out of the 6 Radomes (Nose Cones), that make up the Radar in these Aircraft.
